French Foodie in Dublin has selected the movie ‘Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory’ for the next monthly Foodie Movie Club, to be held early December.
Each month French Foodie in Dublin selects a movie that is privately screened in the cinema in Brooks Hotel. For the last Foodie Movie Club of the year, the selected movie is ‘Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory’, the story of Charlie, a boy who wins a life changing tour of a candy factory.
After popcorn and the movie, the group will head to La Maison restaurant for a meal inspired by the ‘three course chewing gum’ featured in the movie. The main course will be Roast Beef and Baked Potato. Dessert is Blueberry pie and a delicious selection of chocolates provided by Artisan du Chocolat (Brown Thomas). Please not that drinks are not included.
Sitting together, attendees are encouraged to get to know one another through discussion of the movie and accompanying meal.
It’s more than just watching a film, it’s about meeting people, enjoying food and building a community of those with a shared love of food and film.
